most of the consultant i met they're not that good in enterprise infrastructure, they normally seek information from solution integrator (i'm solution architect anyway) and outsource the project to S.I, as sub-contractor.
of coz, consultant also human, can't expect they know everything, they are good on their expertise domain.
this is what we call 互补

eventually all based on customer requirement and budget.

S.A 个朵虚火来的, 又不是一位 "google enginner" 啦, hahaha. 唯独是医生和律师才是真正的专业, 因为他们开住刀, 打官司是没的当堂google搜料, hehe

記得有單野，
系SQL SERVER
CLIENT 行VB runtime proprietory software.
全部within same office same subnet.
後來要extend 到 overseas office.

propose俾老細改為server application 加application server 同webserver.
( 類似4台架構)。 budget 大 ，講極都唔掂。後來借左redhat enterprise同 jboss的marketing material present 俾老細，佢ok左。不過實在連我都睇唔明

小弟出身都是做app, 写下写下 coding顶唔顺就传去做 infrastructure...

失禮了!
早年确寫過下，後來發覺寫program只系手作仔，做幾多搵幾多，
改為做sales,接job判俾行家做。
後來都離開左IT行了。
