According to Business Weekly, Burberry is the 98th most valuable brand in the world. Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2012-13 Show at Paris Men's Fashion Week
PARIS - Kris Von Assche, the designer for Dior Homme, had an impressive collection for his namesake label. FTV wasn't sure what to expect for Dior, but we were also impressed by what came to be. This time, Von Assche didn't make tailoring a priority. Instead he brought out an aesthic that focused on military and sporty themes. This included caps, sunglasses, but also loose trousers and oversize capes that made a statement. While some of those looks came in army green colors, the "free bird" vibe was felt by the other capes which included a white bird patterned motif. Military was also found in the form of strict piping on the jackets, brass-style buckles that looked like they belonged on a military coat from the Napoleonic era. The designer called this show, "A Soldier of My Own" but we liked that he didn't focus solely on militaristic themes.
