上面3張照片分別使用第三代iPad、iPad mini、iPad 2所拍攝，可以看到第三代iPad與iPad mini的雜訊表現、鏡頭廣角度類似；而iPad 2則是充滿油墨雜訊感，同時鏡頭廣角度也不如上述兩台機型。

上面3張照片也是分別使用第三代iPad、iPad mini、iPad 2所拍攝，可以看到第三代iPad與iPad mini的表現非常接近，但銳利度似乎還是第三代iPad佔上風；而iPad 2的照片品質則明顯有段落差。

總結來說，試用組認為iPad mini所代表的，是全新級距的產品體驗。

和主要對手Nexus 7相比，iPad mini的螢幕較大、重量較輕、厚度較薄，確實帶給試用組較佳的第一印象。進一步細看後，iPad mini的極窄邊框螢幕、鋁合金機身，也比Nexus 7的質感來得更好。

使用iPad mini瀏覽網頁時，4:3的螢幕比例優勢立即顯現出來，無論直式或橫式使用，可視範圍都比Nexus 7大，同時iPad mini搭載的是7.9吋螢幕，比Nexus 7的7吋大了將近一吋，更拉大彼此的差距。另外iPad mini也很適合電子書閱讀，解決過去用iPad當隨身電子書過大的問題。

7.9吋的iPad mini，其實比9.7吋iPad更適合作為電子書閱讀器，因為不僅體積重量合理，可以隨身攜帶，同時搭配內建的iBook程式，字體大小也在可接受的範圍。

或許有人會說，iPad mini不過就是iPad的縮小版；而這個問題就如同過去iPad發表之初，有評論認為iPad就是iPhone的放大版相同。其實後來證明，iPad與iPhone是完全不同的產品，也許有些功能可以互通，但兩者是無法被彼此替代的。在使用過iPad mini後，我們認為同樣的邏輯可以套用在iPad mini上。iPad mini帶來全新的輕薄體驗，以及全新使用iPad的方式，是一種全新級距的平板電腦。

另外，試用組也發現iPad mini的「立體聲喇叭」，效果沒有想像中好，而其中最大的問題是使用習慣的體驗。一般來說，會使用喇叭播放的時機，多半都是觀看影片或網路串流影音的服務，而我們習慣會把平板電腦「橫置」以符合最佳畫面比例，這時後由於兩個喇叭都在同一側，因此聲音會集中在一邊，而且雙聲道的關係，聲音會互相干擾，而無法透過左右耳的位差聆聽到效果，是比較可惜的部分。

總體而言，7.9吋的iPad mini確實解決了iPad過重、過大的攜帶性問題，但相對來說，iPad mini的螢幕也較小，因此較適合電子書、行動使用、或是隨身攜帶的人士；而9.7吋的iPad則適合定點操作，像是家庭娛樂、書房、或是辦公室等環境使用，消費者要如何挑選，端看各自實際的使用需求。

可視角度比較，同樣使用IPS面板的iPad mini與Nexus 7差異不大。

日日都話有機出  李加成都破產啦

The iPad Mini  is a mini tablet computer designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. It was announced on October 23, 2012, as the fifth major product in the iPad line and the first to feature a reduced screen size of 7.9 inches, in contrast to the standard 9.7 inches. It features similar internal specifications as the iPad 2, including its display resolution.
The iPad Mini features mostly the same hardware as the iPad 2. Both screens have resolutions of 1024x768, but the iPad Mini has a higher pixel density than iPad 2 (163ppi vs 132ppi). Unlike the iPad 2, it has 5MP and 1.2MP cameras and the Lightning USB connector.

The Smart Cover, introduced with the iPad 2, is a screen protector that magnetically attaches to the face of the iPad. A smaller version is now available for iPad Mini. The cover has three folds, which allow it to convert into a stand, held together by magnets.Smart Covers have a microfiber bottom that cleans the front of the iPad, and wakes up the unit when the cover is removed.
